This tool is great for performing smoke tests on vehicles for diagnostics. It is great that it can be used for so many different applications and size pipes to plug for the test. It saves a lot of time from searching for the correct size cap to fill the intake pipes with that smoke machines usually come with. Saves a lot of time and versatile. It is a bit thin which is why I only gave 4 stars. The first one I had got a hole in it from pumping it up in an intake pipe and the mass air flow sensor cut into it easily so it began to leak. I should have been more careful but I didn't expect it to pop that easily. Overall well worth the cost though.
The flexible stream meter is great. My past smoke machine didn't have a stream meter and I can say it is good to have the option to unequivocally change smoke yield. It is by all accounts fairly made. It has a to some degree hard shell to it and indeed, which ought to give extraordinary insurance to the code peruser. Works impeccably as planned. Immediately found two broke hose spills. It's not difficult to utilize and the cost is correct. I really do contemplate whether a form that utilizes more strain to push the smoke through would be far superior.
Works great, saves much needed time drying painted parts. Stand is a little flimsy where the top piece connects to the bottom but it works, and rolls around to needed positions. Have been using mine for months and its on for days at a time and so far so good.
I have an older vehicle and on occasion the check engine light comes on. This is such a handy tool to have on hand to check my own engine codes for repairs. The price is great and I love that it also clears codes.
This is an awesome lamp specially for the price, I use it all the time for Priming and some small Automotive painting so I don't have to turn on my heater in the Booth.
The first thing to say about these cores is that apparently there are different styles of these things, not all compatible. The cores work when put into the correct base unit. I measured the resistance and it's a consistent 1.0 Ohm. The plastic coating is the expected thickness. The wire is about as flexible as you'd expect of copper, so you can weasel the end of the heater into a tight engine compartment. I didn't test the flexibility too much because the only thing worse than a heater element that I can't use would be a broken heater element that no one can use.
