5 stars is not enough!

I can't not express how satisfied I am with this product. There is no doubt in my mind that we would have broken exhaust manifold studs had we not used this incredible tool. My son was quoted $1500 to $1800 to have his exhaust manifolds replaced on his Infiniti QX56. This was for labor only. On top of that if any studs were broken during the repair it would be an addition $60-$100 per stud. And there were several places that wouldn't even quote the job.

At one point we tested the tool on an exhaust clamp. We tried removing the nut and stopped just before we thought it would break. Then we heated it up with the Magnetic Induction Heater for about 45 seconds and the nut came off with little effort and no damage. This gave us confidence enough to move to the more critical head bolts.

We were able to complete the job without breaking a single bolt. This tool more than paid for itself the first time it was used. As my son likes to buy used vehicles I'm sure we will be using this again in the future.

Red hot bolts and studs

It certainly can make studs red hot quickly, but I found that removal wasn't as easy as expected. Probably that my old studs were just too stuck and rusted.

Disappointed

I’ve used it a few times to show people how it heats up bolts but today when I genuinely needed it mid heat up the light turns off and it stopped working. It’s had a rattle since the beginning but it worked so I didn’t care but I definitely won’t recommend this to anyone.

Game Changer!!

Got it just in time to remove some under carriage bolts I thought I was gonna need a torch for. It helped me zip em right out! Doesn't take long to heat up. Only thing kept me from 5 stars is that the covering burned off one element after 4 uses and it should've came with more. I'll just buy a coulpa more replacement kits. Well worth the time and trouble saved. Hope the unit lasts awhile.
