A tool every mechanic need.

This item is exceptionally helpful and will save you tons of time and headache. It heats the bolts in under and minute. No matter how rusty it is the induction heater will get it glowing red in a matter of seconds

Does the job. Insulation crumbles off the coils.

I bought this for a job on my truck because I saved more on labor than this cost. It’s not magic and can be awkward, but it does get stuff hot. I never could have removed some of the nuts and bolts without getting them hot, and I didn’t want to use a torch.

Once you get the coil hot, one touch against something will crumble the white insulation off of the coil. Also, the waves are just solid copper wire, and it would be easy to make them for custom applications; these coils can be easily bent at an angle to reach a tight spot. It's a valuable tool I’ll probably use a lot since I also work on old rusty tractors a lot.

Indispensable tool for frozen nuts

If your nuts are stuck this piece of electronic wizardry is your friend. I had two pieces of equipment where nothing else had worked.
The first item that was giving me problems was an angle grinder that had a diamond hole saw (for concrete and rock drilling, etc.) seized on so-o-o-oh TIGHT!. When I pressed the push button to lock the shaft and then tried a wrench to remove the hole saw the locking cam would not hold. I use the flameless torch to heat things through several heat and cool cycles. This in addition to Liquid Wrench and rapid cool down with water. Finally, I was able to use a couple pairs of Channellocks going in opposite directions and OO-OOMPH the hole saw loose. Because I had used water to rinse the concrete I had been cutting it seems like a lot of grit and dust got in the threads and this was a real test of the Induction Heating weapon.
The other tool with which we had a problem is a Tormek T-8 slow speed sharpening grinder. I thought the EzyLock nut had rusted onto the shaft on which the grindstone turns. Was totally unable to get the things separated and was looking at nearly $300 price tag to solve the cluster. After several cycle of heat/cool and Liquid Wrench it occurred to me that ... perhaps .... a squirt of automatic transmission fluid into the heated threads might be worth a try. So I did two cycles of heat with followed by the ATF on the threads. Followed that with Channellocks on the EzyLock nut, and was once again rewarded with success.
I don't know how often I will need to use this Little Wonder, but I may play around with making some offset wrenches, or make a crank-necked chisel.
Highly recommended for someone who is used to fixing their own stuff but has become kind of desperate about rusted bolts and stuck nuts LOL.

Great induction heating tool with a comfortable grip!

This induction heater is absolutely amazing. It does a great job of heating up bolts, nuts etc. I will warm you to avoid heating up nylon lined lock nuts. I was heating up a heavily rusted nut when it was nearing red hot the molten burning nylon ran down on the induction coil and left some minor burn marks on the induction coil. Anyway, the tool works great with no problems and the cooling fan runs constantly. To me the fan running constantly when plugged in is actually a good thing as it reduces the heating of the internal components..
